To support Coastguard Maraetai please click "I want to donate part of my membership fee to a specific unit" Then click on the local unit drop down tab and choose Maraetai in the section of the online application illustrated to the right

Once your application has been processed (in 2 -3 days) you will receive a New Members’ pack in the mail. This pack will include a membership card, details of member benefits, and some further information for you to complete with regard to your boat and other contact information, and send back to Coastguard Northern Region.

There is a cabinet mounted on the wall outside the RMCC which is accessible to anyone 24 hours a day , seven days a week.
Inside the cabinet is an AED which is there to be used in an emergency.
In an emergency call 111 from your phone and ask for ambulance.
The AED is simple to operate; just open it up, turn it on and listen to the instructions.
